It is possible to program your subconscious mind to lose weight whilst you are lying in bed. In order to do this you would go through the following exercise below.
1. When you are lying in bed, just before you go to sleep, with your eyes closed – say the following suggestion silently to yourself.
"Everyday in every way I am getting better and better".
2. Once you have said the suggestion, imagine yourself in a situation as if you were getting better and better. You could imagine yourself saying no to unhealthy foods, or stepping on the scales and noticing that you have reduced your weight.
3. Repeat this process another ten times either using the same mental image or a different one.
If you fall asleep whilst doing this then it does not matter, you have still programmed your mind with the change you want. The beauty about using this technique is that your mind does not know what is real or imagined.
Even though you are only imagining yourself getting better, your mind is just believing it as happening. Here is a great link about a man whilst in a coma actually communicating with doctors with just his imagination.
